On the LAST working day of the year (December 29th, 2023) Governor Mike DeWine vetoed Ohio House Bill 68. This Bill banned gender affirming care for minors (Child Mutilation) and Transgender athletes participating in girls/women sports. Not so big - Mike DeWine wrote a long letter (below) explaining to the public how compassionate he was for the children and their parents.  It had nothing to do with DeWine receiving at least $40,300.00 in campaign contributions from Prominent Medical Institutions like: Ohio Children's Hospital Association, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hosp., and Pro Medica Children's Hospital....All of these institutions are ADVOCATES for Transgender Medical Care. We are talking about a 'potential' for these Hospitals to bring in Tens of Millions of Dollars every year. (Good for the bottom line).  The fact that individuals who get these gender affirming Operations have a 12.5% higher rate of suicides after they have been transformed ... doesn't seem to factor into Mike DeWine's Decision. What do they say about corrupt politicians ???  FOLLOW the MONEY !!!  Both the Medical and Legal Profession benefit by Not So Big Mike's Veto.  The Lawyers are being paid by YOU (the taxpayers) to restructure Bill 68.  My concern is: Will the House have enough Courageous, Godly men and women to "Override Mike's Veto."  Proverbs 17:15 "He who condones the wicked, he who condemns the just, are Both an ABOMINATION to the Lord."
